It is wonderful that your student is so vested in his own progress in his behavior. I feel like the progress that your student has made is the goal that we were all aiming for. Ultimately, we want our students to take responsibility for their own actions and behaviors and set goals for themselves in the future.

From your presentation, I learned that these students with undesirable behaviors are capable of change in their behaviors and, more importantly, transform into accountable, self-regulating students. It sounds like you implemented this plan perfectly. For a plan to truly work, students must be invested in it too. Great job communicating with your student to change behaviors that could impede his learning!
